The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research institution in Germany. With more than 3,000 employees, we operate an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.
Together with university partners at seven renowned partner sites, we have established the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK).
For the DKTK partner site in Berlin, the German Cancer Research Center is seeking a

The position is located in the Divison of Tumor Immunology (headed by Prof. Dr. med. Sebastian Ochsenreither) at the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Cancer Immunology , Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
In our lab we aim to identify and ultimately target cancer cell vulnerabilities as a groundwork for early clinical trials. From discovery approaches to validation and preclinical testing, we apply state-of-the-art technologies and seek to explore novel, innovative technologies in close collaboration with research groups at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and the Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology (BIMSB). Further special focus areas of our research include the development of adoptive T cell therapies and immunomodulatory treatment strategies.
