DCUBED is pioneering the future of In-Space Manufacturing, we are building an innovative space crew out of
Munich Germany
We are seeking an individual to design the flight electronics and control software to support our In-Space
Manufacturing (ISM) team with the development of custom electronics for the flight hardware .
You will be responsible for the development of software to monitor & control flight hardware operations including
the design and build of electrical support equipment
You will instrument our payloads with sensing for quality assurance and manage the acceptance testing of the
products
We will also provide you with opportunities to explore our Robotic Applications of DCUBED's ISM portfolio
Here is what you bring to the table
Your Background
- BS in Electrical / Electronics Engineering + 3 years relevant experience, or
- MS in Electrical / Electronics Engineering + 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with PCB design and assembly
- Microcontroller programming in C / C++
- Circuit design of control hardware (motor/actuator control, sensor readout, real-time camera data, logging)
- Software design for control hardware and interfacing to launch providers via protocols
- Solar array power interface design
- Experience with programming in Python
- Fluent in English
Nice to have requirements - Proven record of electronics development for space applications
- Experience with the development of robotic arms
- Development of GUIs
