Job Description

The AI Infrastructure Solution Team is seeking a skilled and motivated Optical Component Measurement Scientist to join our team. As an Optical Component Measurement Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing measurement techniques and methodologies for characterizing optical components. Your work will contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge optical technologies and standards.

With the significant growth of optical data transmission that is powered by high data demand applications like AI Workload in the datacenter, the interoperability and integrity of optical data transmission present technically demanding and rapidly evolving measurement needs.

This is a great opportunity for a person who wants to work with a motivated, skilled, and innovative team to help define and develop the next generation of measurements.

Required:

If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for shaping the future of optical interconnect testing solutions in the AI Infrastructure sector, we invite you to apply. Join our team and contribute to the advancement of innovation in the optical interconnect industry.

Desired:

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent engineering major in optical systems & design with 10+ years of experience. Understanding of photonic test and measurement equipment, fundamentals of optics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for data examination and instrument control. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address complex measurement requirements. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven track record of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Experience with the whole product lifecycle (proof of concept, design, prototype, verification, qualification, release). Proven success in integrating resources across multiple functions in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly competitive environment.
