Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
Are you truly digital-oriented, technology-savvy, passionate about new ways of mobility, and eager to assist our Digital Strategy & Business Operations team? This is the internship you are looking for. As a Digital Strategy and Business Operations Intern you will play an important role in the Digital department of Volocopter supporting both the product development of VoloIQ – our operating system for the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem and our global Enterprise IT on a strategic level. Working as an integral part of the team, you will assist the further development of Volocopter’s digital strategy and technology development. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, gain exposure to various business functions, and contribute to the overall success of our products. You will be based in either Volocopter's Bruchsal or Munich office depending on your preference.
Your Tasks:
- You will assist digital product and IT strategy development, including creating business cases and roadmaps
- You will assist strategic and operational project management and tracking milestones and deliverables with the possibility to fully own project streams
- You will assist managing suppliers, strategic development partners and internal stakeholders
- You will support daily operations with direct touchpoints to leading roles at Volocopter
- You will prepare presentations for the executive management of Volocopter
- You will conduct market & competitor research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences
- You will collaborate with development teams to ensure products are meeting customer needs and requirements
- You will analyze and report on key performance metrics to measure product success
- You will research and analyze tools, services and data providers
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
- You are a student in Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable subject
- You are available for a minimum of 4, ideally 6 months (full-time)
- You have already completed projects or internships in the fields of Consulting, Project Management or similar
- You have excellent MS Office Skills
- You are familiar with and interested in relevant Urban Air Mobility and Digital technologies & disciplines such as e.g. Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Software Development
- You are a communicative team player and have organizational and implementation power
- You show initiative, enjoy accountability and ownership, and have a solution-oriented way of working
- You are a citizen or permanent resident of the EU or your current visa allows you to work in Germany
- Excellent English and German, both written and spoken
