Tasks
- Timely and accurately processing of invoices so that correct vendor details are recorded and payments can be made in accordance with the published payment timetable
- Processing of open items on vendor accounts and clearing activities
- Handling of payment reminders and e-mail communication with suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures particularly in relation to the matching of the purchase order, goods received notes, and invoices. Make sure that NON-PO invoices have the appropriate approvals
- Processing invoices - including entering into the Accounts Payable system, confirmation of calculation, matching to purchase orders statements, confirming authorizations, checking VAT calculations and deductions, taking advantage of discounts where offered etc.
- Active communication with internal customers and business units in order to ensure a smooth process of AP/Payments
- Processing of expenses of employees in accordance with policy
- Ensuring compliance to internal and external audit requirements
* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or at least 2-3 year experience in a similar position,
- Understanding of Accounts Payables processes
- Knowledge of SAP desirable (SAP P03 will be an advantage).
- Attention to details and quality
- Good command of German and English (both written and verbal )
- Sense of urgency, and an absolute commitment to achieving goals
