Would you like to help shape the energy supply of the future? Are you interested in innovations, new technologies and energy management questions? Then join the Energy System Analytics department and develop an independent view of the climate-neutral world of tomorrow with us!
As a think tank for the energy transition at RWE, we proactively search for new insights and trends that are relevant for the energy market of the future. To do this, we analyze the energy market and scout innovative technologies to identify sustainable business opportunities and promote strategic partnerships for RWE. • You support the fundamental analyses of energy markets, business models and technologies to illustrate sustainable business opportunities for RWE in line with the energy transition towards net zero 
• We observe and evaluate together the ongoing developments impacting the energy transition in the fields of regulation, technology and energy markets  
• You independently carry out techno-economic analyses of new technologies and their commercial impact
• You support the development of strategic cooperations with external industrial partners fostering the industrial decarbonisation in RWE’s target markets 
• You translate complex content and analysis results into meaningful and purpose-driven presentations for the top management 

Your powerful skills 

• You are currently studying Economics, Engineering or Natural Sciences, ideally in the energy industry field
• You have gained initial experience in the energy industry (e.g. as research assistant, intern or working student) 
• You have the ability to quickly get familiar with new subject areas and to communicate complex issues in a concise and target-oriented manner 
• You enjoy solving technological and energy economics related questions and your creativity allows you to develop out-of-the-box solutions for them
• You are familiar with the common methods of economic analysis and interpretation of results  
• You convince with your confidence, persuasiveness and people skills – also in an international environment 
• You are fluent in English, other language skills would be beneficial
