As a motivated Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer youll play a pivotal role in designing developing and implementing electrical and mechatronic subsystems for our large deployable reflectors crucial components for space missions. Tasks
- Design simulate and optimize electrical and mechatronic subsystems for large deployable reflectors used in space applications.
- Implement control strategies sensors and actuators ensuring precise and reliable operation in space environment.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate electrical and mechatronic systems into overall designs.
- Analyze customer requirements producing technical specifications for subsystems and subassemblies for internal use and suppliers.
- Conduct performance testing analysis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechatronic components.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements ESAECSS standards safety regulations and space mission requirements.
- Contribute to the development of company internal test facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience in design analysis implementation and verification of electrical and mechatronic subsystems preferably in the space technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of control systems sensors actuators power electronics and PCB design.
- Handson experience with electronic laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design.
- Proficiency in programming and simulation software such as Python MATLAB/Simulink.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical analysis is advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant ESAECSS standards EMC ESD requirements and electrical design rules for space products.
- Familiarity with RF engineering discipline is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document and present technical information effectively.
