To complete our risk management team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA we are looking for a Group ESG Risk Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
In this role you will be responsible for global risk management processes. You will identify, assess and manage risks that affect KWS and our value chain. You will also lead the transformation of our risk management to meet new ESG requirements. Furthermore, you will work closely with various departments worldwide, align strategies with the needs of the Executive Board and cooperate closely with sustainability management.

This vacancy is permanent and available in full-time. Work from our Berlin-based office or at our HQ in Einbeck.
Tasks:
- You will be responsible for the implementation of Group Risk Management processes with the main objective of identifying and assessing risks in the context of an internationally active company
- Monitoring risk control measures in order to minimize risks and prevent crisis situations
- Independent risk analyses for the Executive Board
- Preparation of meaningful risk reports for the Management Board and Supervisory Board and regular presentations to these bodies
- Working closely with departments such as Controlling, Finance, Procurement, Sustainability and our business units to standardize risk management procedures across the Group and integrate them appropriately into our regular business processes
- Developing and conducting training courses for employees
- Identifying and implementing process improvement potential
- Further development, monitoring and reporting on the internal control system
Profile:
- University degree in agricultural sciences, economics, risk management or comparable
- Professional experience in risk management, ESG management or in a related field and relevant work experience - preferably in the agricultural or food sector
- Ability to analyze risk data and derive relevant insights
- Very good user knowledge MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and risk management software
- Strategic mindset paired with the ability to develop long-term risk management goals for KWS
- Strong analytical skills and interest in continuous process optimization
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with different target groups
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good command of both German and English (written and spoken)
