The Institute of Vehicle Concepts is a systems institute. It contributes to and coordinates transport-related research topics on new vehicle concepts and vehicle technologies.
The metal hydride refrigeration machine utilises the pressure difference between the hydrogen tank and the fuel cell to support the air conditioning system in fuel cell vehicles. Your task will be to extend the Simulink model by a further reactor generation, check its plausibility and optimise the control strategy. The requirement is always a soft real-time capability in order to link the Simulink model to the test bench controlled with dSpace.
