In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new
The team is based in Germany and France and works closely together transnationally. The maintainability and ergonomics studies are partly carried out on the real helicopter or virtually with the help of 3D/Catia or “Virtual Reality”. In this position you will work largely on the H135 and H145 civil helicopter programs, but also on the military program.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours (minimum 30) and an adapted scope of tasks.
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Carrying out maintainability analyzes to check the feasibility and accessibility of maintenance tasks
Compliance with the maintenance concept as part of development, taking ergonomic and human factors into account
Influencing maintenance procedures and validating them on real helicopters
The investigation of major incidents related to maintenance
Comparison of different helicopter designs in terms of maintenance effort
Influencing the helicopter design or the integration of components with regard to service requirements and overarching maintenance concept
Management of projects in terms of planning, costs and quality, as well as the management of subcontractors
Desired skills and qualifications
Completed Master's Degree in engineering or comparable
Several years of practical experience in engineering is desirable
Experience in H135, H145 desirable
Basic knowledge of using the CAD program “CATIA V5”
Knowledge of ergonomics studies is an advantage
Good communication skills is mandatory
Language skills: English - fluent, German - would be a plus
