Vacancy at the German Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan

The German Jordanian University (GJU) is a public Jordanian university that is based on the model of German Universities of Applied Sciences. It was established in 2005 upon an agreement between the German and Jordanian governments. At present, almost 5,000 students are enrolled at GJU. All GJU bachelor students spend one year of their studies in Germany, for which they receive professional, linguistic and cultural preparation in the first three years. The "German Dimension" therefore plays a central role in all bachelor programs of GJU.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports GJU within the framework of the programme "Transnational Education - Promoting Binational Higher Education". On the German side, Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences leads this DAAD funded project in Germany. It has established a Project Office, which works closely with GJU.

At the German Jordanian University in Amman, the following position is to be filled as soon as possible:

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Salary:
The position will be remunerated at the GJU with a local salary commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. EU nationals will receive an additional allowance from Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences through their Project Office.
