Handwai GmbH specializes in simplifying project operations in artisanal trades through innovative digital solutions aiming to make them more accessible and successful for crafmann. We develop cuttingedge Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Tasks
- Participate in various phases of the software development process including requirements analysis design implementation and testing with a primary focus on advancing healthcare data analytics. Collaboration with the project manager is crucial throughout these phases.
- Utilize your expertise as a computer scientist to develop targeted software solutions in the terms of data analytics.
- Act as a Data Scientist developing system solutions in coordination with the project manager and actively sharing your methodical knowledge with other team members.
- Keep your expertise uptodate and stay informed about current trends in technology particularly in data analytics.
- Develop data analysis pipelines ensuring comprehensive code documentation.
- Implement appropriate visualization methods to effectively communicate findings incorporating techniques such as dimensionality reduction methods.
- Embrace the challenge of tackling problems with undetermined solutions.
Requirements
Must have:
- Completed studies/training in computer science or a comparable field.
- Ideally possess firsthand experience in the medical software area.
- Experience in handling unstructured clinical (meta) data.
- Knowledge of theoretical Machine Learning.
- Solid proficiency in data analysis with Numpy Pandas and pySpark.
- Experience in implementing machine and deep learning pipelines with at least knowledge of one differentiation framework (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch etc.).
- Good knowledge of objectoriented programming (e.g. Python Java etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Very good knowledge in the use of RESTful Services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Github).
- Rigor in highquality code automated testing and other engineering best practices.
- Very good English language skills both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work in an agile team in a variety of formative roles.
- A handson mentality and selfmotivation in an open and focused startup culture.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of R MATLAB or Scala is a plus.
- Familiarity with MLOps is an advantage.
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management cloud technologies and analytics tools (e.g. Jenkins AWS Azure) is a plus.Previous experience using tools such as Confluence and Jira is beneficial
