Job description
Function: Payroll Reporting: Director Global Payroll Location: EMEA Role purpose As an International Payroll Advisor you’ll have the pivotal role to ensure the accurate delivery of payrolls in the EMEA region. You will become a subject matter expert for assigned payrolls, contributing to the development and implementation of consistent and standard processes. Collaborating closely and reporting into the Global Payroll Director your mission is key in maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance across a global scale. Key accountabilities
- Be the subject matter expert on the assigned payrolls in EMEA region
- Process and communicate all payroll updates and changes with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail of manual payroll input
- Have a good understanding on local labor laws impacting payroll
- Ensure that data is received in line with established payroll formats and deadlines
- Be primary point of contact for employee queries in relation to designated payrolls
- Process payroll funding in each location – salaries and 3rd party payments in collaboration with the Treasury Team
- Handle payroll closing activities and mantaining a detailed process documentation with the help of Global Payroll Lead for all EMEA payrolls
- Interact with the global payroll provider and sub-contractors if applicable
- Audit the payroll calculations and payroll output reports (G2N, Variance Report, payslips, payment files, etc). Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records
- Identify improvements, opportunities for process automation and implement any resultant changes
- Provide advice on best practices on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary and ensuring that the payroll database is working correctly
- Assist & co-operate in any internal or external audits / projects

Role specific requirements Skills & Experience - At least 4-5 years of experience working in international payroll
- Recent operational payroll experience within EMEA
- Processed international payrolls and worked with global payroll providers
- Strong payroll systems experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Highly organised and able to effectively multi-task and prioritise workload
- CIPP (advantageous) or similar
- BA Diploma
- High level of customer focus being a self-starter and proactive
- Analytically minded with a high level of accuracy and attention
