In short …
The Customer Logistic Department supports Nikon Precision Europe (NPE) Service Teams and customers with supply of spare parts and the logistics around tool support. Parts and tools are distributed over NPE offices and contracted warehouses in Europe. The team covers all required tasks from quotation to billing, transport arrangement and Import/Export control, purchase and storage of parts and tools.
What you will do … - Receive requests for parts from customer and/or NPE Service Managers and process these including all necessary authorisations prior to arranging despatch.
- Ensure that parts pending is managed efficiently.
- Responsible for order processing including invoicing and preparation of necessary delivery documents (Service + Sales)
- Reconciliation of customer P.O.'s and NPE consignment/despatch notes.
- Prepare data to enable accurate invoicing (especially service contracts).
- Prepare quotations for parts and service contracts.
- Request the supply of parts from either local approved suppliers or Nikon suppliers via the Materials Department.
- Liaise with NPE's Materials Department to determine parts delivery schedules and inform customer as appropriate.
- Generate parts and service contract invoices correctly.
- Create Purchase Orders (POs) with SAP.
- Manage open customer PO’s.
- Act as Point-of-Contact (POC) for NPE customer service support.
- Act as a focal communication link between Service Manager, FSE's, customers and other departments.
- Accountable for the timelines of Customer Service Representative (CSR) Team operations, as well as the quality and accuracy of data for the customer.
- Perform frequent parts tracking report, for NPE internal and external users.
- Prepare the frequently required reports for internal and external users.
- Report to the manager in a timely manner if problems occur which need intervention.
- Review reports and take action if reports show bad trends or decrease of performance.
- Define the problem indicated in the report.
- Report the problem to Manager.
- Follow up with corrective actions.
- Create forwarder instructions (local and abroad) for del. times, etc.
Who you are … - You are fluent in English & German (spoken and written).
- You have qualifications as Wholesale and International Trade Specialist or Freight Forwarding Agent.
- You have 1+ year of relevant job experience.
- You are conversant with job relevant information systems & software.
- You have a good knowledge of the company structure (job relevant).

Working conditions: Contract Working hours - Mon-Fri dayshift, flexibility to work out-with core hours, occasionally some weekend.
- Varying work patterns will be required during the training and transition period.
Travel requirements - Occasional abroad for training and customer assistance as required.
