Import/Export Compliance Associate (M/F/D) page is loaded
Your responsibilities:
Monitoring the legally compliant processing of all imports and exports in the company
Applying for export licenses and monitoring and handling correspondence with BAFA
Compliance with US export control regulations
Monitoring the SAP material master with regard to customs and export regulations
Monitoring import shipments, taking into account customs-related documentation and customs value calculations
Assisting in the preparation of foreign trade audits by the main customs office
Support with all customs-related processes in the company
Coordination and communication with the responsible authorities (customs/BAFA)
Collaboration with the Customer Service & Logistic Manager and support in monitoring compliance with internal and external requirements
Collaboration in IT projects to optimize IT-supported processes in the area of export control/customs declarations
Your profile:
Completed training as a forwarding and logistics services specialist and subsequent specialist training/further training as a foreign trade specialist
Several years of professional experience in customs clearance
Good verbal and written communication skills, both in German and English
Good SAP and MS Office skills
Knowledge of the Union Customs Code and associated regulations
Strong technical knowledge of the fittings industry desirable
Independent working style, initiative, ability to work in a team, flexibility and reliability
