Job description

Student Assistant* in Intellectual Property 

At BioNTech, you will support our international Intellectual Property team which is located in Germany, US and the UK for up to 20 hours per week during your semester and thus gain exciting insights into the versatile field of intellectual property already during your studies.

Your main responsibilities are:

• You support us with internal and external communications, e.g., law firms and our scientists
• You support our team on specific projects as requested
• You take care of general office organisation in Mainz
• You perform data checks in our systems under supervision
• You help facilitate the signature of powers of attorney, assignments and declarations with scientists, attorneys, and Board Members
• You help coordinate the onboarding process for new starters
• You handle archiving procedures in Mainz

What you have to offer.

• Working towards a scientific degree with at least one year of study already completed
• Be accountable, flexible, proactive, and curious
• Be accurate (attention to detail)
• Be an enthusiastic team player
• Strong communication skills
• MS Office skills
• Fluent in German & English
