We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and innovative  Medical Strategy Lead Bone  to join us in our  Medical Affairs  team, based in Monheim, Germany.

About the role

The Medical Strategy Lead is a key scientific expert and strategic partner for Bone (Osteoporosis). Responsible for designing and executing cross-functional strategies, this role aims to create impactful change for patients through ambitious and differentiated initiatives.

Who you’ll work with

You will report to the Immunology Medical Head Germany, and you will work in close alignment with the field medical lead Bone, with your counterparts in the Immunology EU medical team, and with the colleagues from the local bone franchise.

What you’ll do

• Provide senior medical leadership and strategy for the Bone therapeutic area in Germany, aligned with the Patient Value Unit strategy.
• Set the overall medical strategy at the country level, translating scientific knowledge into value for patients and business, and contributing to cross-functional strategies.
• Offer medical strategic direction to Medical Affairs Teams, ensuring successful execution within local strategic plans.
• Facilitate scientific engagement with external stakeholders, conveying the value story and championing key initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and manage a Bone Medical Solution Lead, fostering independent execution of medical strategies and tactics through collaborative teamwork.

I nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following   education, experience,   and  skills.

• Master's degree or MD degree required. Preferably a Ph.D., Pharm.D., with a preference for relevant therapeutic area experience.
• People management experience is advantageous, experience as a Medical Solution Lead (Medical Manager) or in-field medical experience is desired.
• 4+ years of substantial Medical Affairs experience in relevant therapeutic areas or similar fields within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record contributing to medical and/or clinical development strategies, leading cross-business/cross-functional planning, and establishing peer relationships with external experts and regulatory bodies in the German pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
