(Senior) Software Engineer Frontend + Backend (m/f/x)

YOUR TASKS

• Design and implementation of control backend and user frontend software for audio mixers.
• Optimization, maintenance, and development of an existing code base as well as creating new modules for future feature.
• Ensuring the quality of the results by supporting and implementing unit and regression test strategies

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar qualification
• Experience in Software Engineering for Embedded Systems, ideally in Audio or Video environments
• Proven knowledge of Software Engineering methods (Architecture, Development)
• Mastery of object-oriented software design in C++ using modern standards (C++ 17, 20, 23)
• Knowledge of the C++ standard library and other helper libraries
• Knowledge of core system development, ideally under Linux, ideally frontend and backend
• Knowledge of source code management tools (ideally git)
• Experience in GUI frameworks (ideally Gtk)
• Experience in methods of agile software engineering (ideally SCRUM)
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Good knowledge of English, German appreciated but not mandatory
