Committed to customer focus and on time delivery we are looking for a Planning & Fulfillment Manager at our site in Luedenscheid, Germany. In this role you lead the planning and fulfillment activities for the Local Product Group and support and run Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. Your responsibilities
- Lead the Planning & Fulfillment Team and be an inspiring leader acting as a role model.
- Enable clear customer focused behavior in the P&F process execution. Understand and manage P&F Stakeholders.
- Lead /contribute to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy based on related KPI´s.
- Drive the Supply Planning Process to a next level and provide visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Hub/PG S&OP process.
- Focus on further development of the Planning, Disposition and Logistics processes from Operations perspective and responsibilities including the relevant tools.
- Identify, manage and / or projects to drive changes in Disposition, Planning and Logistics which improve our KPI and lead to a next level improvement using lean methodologies.
- Develop methodology to run optimization initiatives and embedded change in the units and manage the project tracking and pipeline.
- Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
- Fluent speaking and writing in German and English.
Your background
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent and/ or > 5 years working experience in Procurement & Logistics or Planning in Fulfillment based on a solid qualification in Business Administration
- Proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment metrics via optimization initiatives and lean methodologies based on expertise in the domains of Disposition, Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management
- Advanced and senior knowledge in SAP (Modules PP, MM, WM) as a plus
- Ability and strengths to lead and represent the team in the organization
- Strong communication skills in English and German, consulting and facilitating skills
- Experience in application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodology as a plus
