A long-term cooperation is desired
The fixed-term employment is possible as it constitutes one of the fixed-term options of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (German Act on Fixed-term Scientific Contracts).
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 8 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 14,00 Euros per hour until 31.03.2024 and 15,20 Euros from 01.04.2024.

Unser Profil

ANTS searches and analyses in research and teaching for solutions and methods to make anthropogenic material flows recyclable. Thus, we aim to develop a raw material management at the product and material flow level as well as to demonstrate and to implement it by means of practical examples. With its previous expertise, the department is one of the leading research institutions in Europe in the field of mechanical and sensor-based processing technology. The ANTS combines the modelling and evaluation of processing and recycling processes with a view to entire product systems and life cycles in the sense of a circular economy and complements this expertise by technical implementation and demonstration.

Ihr Profil

We are looking for a Research assistant with Bachelor's degree (f/m/d) to support our ReVise UP project. This project investigates the improvement of mechanical plastics recycling. The task includes support for the implementation of sensor-based material flow characterization on an industrial scale and for the development of a quality monitoring system for recycled plastics. Your tasks will also include participation in the improvement/further development of our internal software and the evaluation of experimental tests, thereby contributing to the development of sustainable material management.
