Job description
As Head of Quality (f/m/d) you lay the foundations for our quality management system, structure, and culture at our fast-growing company. Together with your team you are responsible for implementing and establishing quality frameworks, guidelines, and principles according to which we act as an organization. You and your team support the organization in modelling their respective processes and in identifying best practices and standards to enhance our overall product and process quality. You fill the role of our central Quality Management Representative. In your global role, you ensure that we live up to and keep highest quality standards as we grow internationally. As a strong leader you foster a culture of continuous improvement within the company and set quality performance indicators internally. Externally, you represent the company with regards to quality topics vis-à-vis suppliers, customers, brand partners, as well as authorities and unions.
Your areas of responsibility include:
- L eading a growing quality team consisting of Quality Management, Product Assurance, and Product Certification
- Developing a global quality management team with international footprint
- S etting up and continuously optimizing our Integrated Management System and quality management manual
- D efining a suitable quality management system, implementing it in daily processes and refining existing processes according to EN ISO 9001
- P roviding support to the organization by guiding them on our process framework according to BPMN
- Developing and implementing strategies to transfer business process excellence in processes and related tools
- Building and improving the functions of quality governance as well as quality reporting and analytics
- Advising internal departments and our customers and suppliers on all process quality issues
- Planning of and assisting in internal and external quality audits
- You have successfully completed a technical degree in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Y ou have 10+ years of professional experience in quality management in a hardware- related industry segment
- Y ou demonstrate proven regulatory competence
- Y ou have gained solid expertise in building quality organizations over the years, so you can specify and implement quality processes as well as guide an organization on applying common quality techniques
- You show strong people management, communication and moderations skills to effectively lead global teams and to steer between respective functions and projects
- Y ou are a results-oriented person with exceptional leadership and organizational skills
- Y ou are both fluent in German and English
