Working Student: Design and Modeling of a 2-Stage Low-Dropout Regulator with Type-III Compensation (f/m/div)

Job description
- Take responsibility : You design a 2-stage Low-Dropout Regulator (LDO) with Type-III compensation at the transistor level using Cadence Virtuoso
- Simulation : You use MATLAB for fast estimation by modeling the LDO
- Reliable work : You create a MATLAB model for a support circuit of the LDO
- Shape the future : You evaluate and refine the performance of these models
Your Profile
- Study field : You are currently studying Electrical Engineering or similar field with a focus on electronics
- Experience : You have basic knowledge in analog design
- Skills : You had your first experience with Cadence Virtuoso. Having basic MATLAB knowledge is a plus
- Personality : You have good communication skills
- Interests : You are willing to work in an international team
- Language skills : You have good English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:
- Working part-time : The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site : It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
