PRO CONCENTUS GmbH is the umbrella organization of several non-profit companies in the field of child, youth and family welfare in Berlin. PRO CONCENTUS GmbH acts as a service provider for these organizations in many areas of administration (including IT, public relations, human resources and financial accounting). The non-profit companies operate 43 daycare centers and other child and youth welfare facilities in Berlin with more than 1,500 employees. This makes us one of the largest providers of child and youth welfare services in Berlin.
At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a permanent part-time or full-time position for a
IT Administrator (m/f/d)
What are your tasks?
- Together with 6 other colleagues, you will be responsible for the entire administrative IT area as well as the expansion and continuous development of our IT infrastructure.
- You will provide technical and administrative support to all users in our group of companies with regard to hardware and software, online and on site (in the Berlin area).
- You plan complex network infrastructures, set them up and ensure that they function smoothly.
- You maintain and manage standard applications and database systems.
What you bring with you:
- Successfully completed training in the IT sector or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in the administration of complex networks, routing & switching, WLAN, VPN, security, firewall, RADIUS (especially FreeRADIUS) is desirable
- Knowledge of server virtualization (vSphere) and server management for FreeBSD, Windows and Linux servers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud, such as Azure, Azure Active Directory or Microsoft 365
- Team spirit, high level of commitment and independent working style
- Enjoy: IT support, problem analysis, solution attempts and solution implementation
- Very good written and spoken German (at least B2)
- German work permit (required)
- Willingness to work in Berlin (The position is not advertised as a remote position.)
