Account Manager - Technical Sales (f/m/d)

Purpose of your Job

Our Business Development Unit is looking for a new colleague, who wants to be part of our technical Sales team in Martinsried close to Munich or from remote to expand the business with existing clients/new clients.
The Purpose of this Position is to ensure further development and increase in sales of Coriolis´ business activities on national and international level.
As a Account Manager(f/m/d) you are leading the development regarding sales, strategic business development and business aspects of ongoing projects.

  • Develop and grow sales and business development activities within assigned accounts by ensuring:
    • Strategically develop and support existing clients in terms of business opportunities and new projects
    • Establish Governance Structures and expand network within assigned accounts
    • Conduct Business Review Meetings
    • Develop tailored strategies in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to better serve clients considering our existing and future service portfolio
    • Work on new customer requests and ensure preparation of proposals according to client needs
    • Negotiate contracts in close collaboration with the contract management team
    • Establish Business Development/Accounts-plans for assigned accounts including potential business scenarios and future utilization
    • Representation of Coriolis during conferences and customer visits (globally)
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Enable continuous improvement by
    • regular tracking & reporting business relevant KPIs (signed contracts, pipeline, etc.) to observe potential trends and react accordingly
    • Initiation, planning, leading and execution of projects to reach strategic company goals
  • Act as interface to internal and external stakeholders by
    • proactively assessing client needs and developing solutions together with the Business Development, Product and Service Management and Marketing-Teams to respond to these needs
    • collaborating with our operative scientists and Project leaders working on our client projects
    • Ensure satisfaction of other stakeholders
Qualifikationsprofil:
  • Master’s degree, PhD or comparable higher Education in a scientific area (pharmacy, biology, biotechnology, chemistry etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience,
  • Intensive industry knowledge, preferable in an CRDO/CDMO/CMO environment
  • Project management experience (Not mandartory)
  • Further training in business administration and sales preferred
  • You are a good team player
  • You have excellent and persuasive communication skills and you enjoy networking
  • You have very good presentation and negotiation skills
  • You are willing to travel to drive our business
  • You are business fluent in English
  • Other languages would be helpful, e.g. Spanish, French, etc.
