What’s the role?

The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for determining the Supply Chain strategy for the physical products that Bloomberg provides to customers and internal business groups. The specific aspects of this group include demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, maintenance of inventory controls and audits, and procedures to monitor and verify inventory levels globally. Additionally, the group is responsible for determining and acquiring the budgets needed to procure and manage all aspects of the product life-cycle. We are seeking an energetic, innovative individual to join our Planning team as the Global Supply Planner for our Core Planned Products.

As a Bloomberg Business Analyst of Logistics, you will be responsible to maintain and improve the inventory situation in multiple plants collaborating with supply chain global team and stakeholders. You will also be responsible to control the physical inventory counting process in SAP IM and WM, resolve discrepancies, report results to management team and continuously suggest and implement improvements on preparation, execution and closure.

You will also interact with partners in order to implement global governance for asset disposition following the current regional regulations and company guidelines. You will also maintain and improve inventory related critical metrics and dashboards and perform extensive research on inventory standard methodologies and opportunities for new processes and reports.
