Global Manufacturing Scientist* MS&T 

The Global Manufacturing Scientist* MS&T DS is a member of the team of process owners for Drug Substances, all modalities. 
In this function the position holder takes ownership for commercial or late clinical stage manufacturing process(es) by gathering and providing process knowledge and historical information to all internal and external interfaces.  He is accountable and responsible for making decisions regarding maintenance and further development of the process, oversees internal/external manufacturers´ performance, address Health Authorities requests, drives investigations and changes impacting the manufacturing process throughout late clinic and commercial life cycle.

Your main responsibilities are:

• As leading subject matter expert (SME), you are our interface to internal Stakeholders (TechDev/CMC, Regulatory Affairs, QA etc.) and external Manufacturing Network Partners.
• You will drive continuous improvement, process robustness and monitoring of product/process parameters in collaboration with internal sites and network partners.
• Your detailed process knowledge will enable you to be the responsible SME for cross-site investigations and solving process issues.
• Together we will develop and implement standards for manufacturing processes across products, modalities, and sites.
• You will contribute to implementation and monitoring of KPIs and effective process risk management to ensure process performance, stability, and effectiveness of improvement measures.

What you have to offer:

• University degree in life sciences, chemistry or engineering providing you with a solid fundament of principles, concepts, and theories in applied sciences.
• Proven track record (>3yr) in the field of commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes providing you with experiences in the pharmaceutical world and leading cross-functional teams. 
• Team spirit comes naturally, and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Creativity and analytical skills to develop and execute flexible approaches to support our vision of establishing a strong MS&T organization.
• Profound knowledge of EU / US cGMP guidelines and regulatory standards
• Strong communication skills in English and German enables you to adapt your communication to different levels of stakeholders
