KEY OUTCOMES
- Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the administrative structure and the infrastructure of the projects focused on medical and human biomonitoring processes and logistics;
- Proposal and budget preparation, development of survey-methodological project designs tailored to concrete research questions;
- Project management within the regulated field of health care (GEP/GCP);
- Conduction of risk assessment of occupational health and safety in consultation with the company physician;
- Supporting in recruiting of the medical field staff (f.i. study physicians, mobile laboratory stuff) with creation of job offers, advertising and pre-selection of candidates in cooperation with supplier;
- Development of standard operations procedures (SOPs) regarding medical processes and specimen storage, preparation and transport;
- Selection of medical material and organising of material logistics;
- Training of project staff (especially study physicians and mobile laboratory stuff, if applicable interviewers or other field personal) incl. the creation of the training concept and the organising of the training incl. the availability of needed training materials;
- Willingness to spontaneously step in as a backup study physician in Germany (f.i. venous blood collection, conducting interview);
- Act as central contact for the client incl. consultation and presentation to the client;
- Monitoring of field progression and preparation of feedback meetings with field staff;
- Responsible for quality management (site visits, data validation);
- Reporting, descriptive statistical analysis, charting;
- Responsible for the supervision and management of the study budget, including review of invoices;
CAPABILITIES
- Physician (every specialisation, incl. dentist)/ state examination in medicine with Licence to practice medicine from the European Union;
- At least 3 years of professional experience;
- Theoretical knowledge or practical experience in Public Health studies ;
- Customer-oriented thinking
- Drivers Licence and routine of driving cars (incl. van size);
- Knowledge about medical hygiene;
- Practical Experience of physician field work in epidemiological studies of advantage;
- Experience in occupational safety topics of advantage;
- Know how regarding specimen preparation, storage and transport (eg. protection of contamination, compliance of cold chain incl. temperature tracking) of advantage;
- Open for working on new topics, Creativity;
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player;
- Reliable and accurate work style on medical legal topics;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Good feeling for complex relationships, high analytical thinking ability and problem-solving orientation
- Ability to analyse and solve problems and to make sound decisions;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office;
- Read, write and speak fluently German, excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Basic knowledge of English;
- Passion to collaborate and build meaningful relationships;
