Prematch is a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne – the team includes 20 smart and ‘hungry’ members working on Prematch from the company’s offices in Cologne & Berlin (Marketing & Business team) and remotely from all over Europe (Tech & Product team).

• remote option: you decide – 100% remote (Germany or EU-wide), top office in Cologne/Berlin or a combination of both

Your Responsibilities

You’ll work on the company’s core product – the beloved Prematch app. You can built on top of the Prematch Platform, which powers the most advanced features for an enthusiastic community:

• Ship what you build right into the hand of users. You own the process of delivering features in a delightful way, just as much as you own the process of building them.
• Proactively learn about how people use what you’ve built and shipped. You won’t stick to tech stuff only; you will also learn from users directly, what they’re saying on social media or what comes out from user interviews, etc.
• Help the team grow the company’s user base: at Prematch, growth and product are the same thing. The reason why? They both need to delight Prematch users, and serve the same goal: make every player feel like a pro.
• You will work with other techies, the CTO, Product people, the Growth team but also the content team. This team is as cross-functional as it gets.

Your Profile

• Enough experience to be “fluent” in building apps without being stuck on technical implementation. Your code happens like clockwork, and lets you focus on the problem you’re solving, and how users will feel when interacting with it.
• You have experience in building Flutter applications, ideally with knowledge on how to work with riverpod, Freezed, GetIt and Firebase services.
• Quality mindset: QA is not just unit tests, E2E or manual testing. You use those on a regular basis, but you also know how to find the weak spot in a product process that end up in degrading the experience for users, and suggest improvements to raise the bar.
• Debugging and optimizing performance hold no secrets for you. You know how to use your tools, and can optimize anything to load fast.
• You measure what you ship, and learn from it. You are familiar with setting-up analytics, while respecting people’s privacy.
