AWS is looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to lead EMEA Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our rapidly growing Data Center Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly innovative and fast-growing area of Amazon, in a role where you will have an opportunity to directly influence business decisions impacting the global organization.

We are looking for a motivated candidate that has operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment and has the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of analyses. The role requires a candidate that can think big and drive business direction while excelling at analyzing business inputs and making decisions in ambiguous situations.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business teams to develop and maintain a strategic multi-year plan, translate rapid business driver growth to operational support needs and provide decision support for investments and initiatives supporting rapid growth across multiple businesses and geographies while delivering best in class customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
* Serve as the key business partner working directly with the region’s AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations. You must have the ability to structure problems, perform analysis, and present to senior executives. Supporting business partners at Amazon requires the ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners

* Leading in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews. An ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing finance processes for speed, agility and insight
* Leading the region’s monthly and annual forecasting processes
* Developing, reporting, and analyzing key metrics that drive actionable goals to ensure we are running a lean business while exceeding customer expectations
* Ensuring compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

- Experience in Excel with advanced proficiency (pivots, lookups, etc.)
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
- min 5 years experience in FOP&A role in international company

BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN

- MBA, or CPA
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience in mentoring junior finance or business team members
- Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to management for strategic decision-making
