Cloud System Engineer (DevOps) (f/m/d)

Within the central division Information Technology we are looking for a System Engineer (DevOps) (f/m/d) for the area Business IT Solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- As a Cloud System Engineer (DevOps), you will support agile, international software development teams with your technical expertise
- You ensure reliable and stable operation of the developed Digital Products by implementing best practices (e.g. Site Reliability Engineering / SRE).
- You ensure a smooth release workflow ("from code to production") and enable the product teams to deliver their developed features safely and reliably.
- You advise the teams on system architecture issues and actively participate in the decision making process
- Work closely with the product team to implement the system architecture using infrastructure-as-code
- You will diagnose and troubleshoot system errors
- You will be an active part of our developer and DevOps community
Professional competencies
- You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or a comparable education and have at least 3 years of experience in the described area of responsibility.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
- Extensive understanding of network architectures and security concepts in the cloud
- Experience automating infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible or Terraform, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
- Ability to work in a team and a proactive approach
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. GxP) is an advantage
- Technical background from software development and knowledge of processes relevant there, such as Continuous Integration / Delivery, Quality Assurance and the automation of processes are an advantage.
