Business Analyst / Actuary in Software Development (m/f/d)
What you bring to the table:
- You have several years of experience in the collection and development of technical requirements in the life insurance environment, ideally in the field of software development
- You are familiar with insurance technology, ideally also with technically complex IT systems with mathematical product calculation kernels
- You have strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset - complex and challenging problems push you to find solutions
- You have a keen interest or already have some experience in programming with Java
- You combine your analytical and conceptual way of thinking with quality awareness and focus on results
- Thanks to your excellent communication skills and your strong argumentation skills, you are able to make complex contexts understandable to your target group
- As a link between your team and the specialist department, you use your intuition, diplomatic skills and assertiveness
- You have an independent working style and a hands-on mentality
- You are a team player through and through and motivated - you use these strengths in collaboration with your team
- We work in an agile way, so an agile mindset is important - initial experience with agile working methods is a plus
- You are keen to actively shape your own role, your tasks and your development
- You have a degree in mathematics or a related course of study with a focus on the finance or insurance industry and ideally have successfully completed training as an actuary (DAV)

- Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the further development of products in the area of life insurance
- You quickly gain a good overview of the overall system and analyze technical requirements and challenges both independently and in a team with stakeholders and other specialist departments
- You are motivated to understand highly complex product systems and develop them further at a technical and actuarial level
- Developing these complex technical solutions is part of your job - taking into account product requirements and legal framework conditions
- You are responsible for the preparation and submission of technical concepts - you share the essential aspects with your team in order to support the implementation in the best possible way
- Quality assurance, development-accompanying tests using test automation tools and the creation of necessary documentation are part of the job
- You use your broad technical knowledge in sparring with our technical experts to develop solutions together
- Our products in the legacy system are sophisticated - you are the communication interface within your team, network across departments and with your stakeholders at WWK and thus gain a good overview of the overall system
