Job Description
We are looking for you, an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse), to support our area Industrial Solutions at the location Northeim.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
*Defining product requirements based on customer input and related application
*RFQ/PO Technical review, product selection, customer visits and on-site product inspection
*Technical training to customers and internal stakeholders as well as technical support for claims (quality incidents) and performance issues
*Clarification of technical questions and recommendation for improvements
*Leading and supporting customer specific projects in close collaboration with all stakeholders
*Ensuring proper documentation about product performance (data collection and analysis)
*Applying product engineering tools incl. specific requirements and provide input for improvements
*Close collaboration with other departments
*Compiling technical needs, customer pain points and make recommendations to drive innovation.
*Ensuring Technical compliance of all products by doing technical review
Qualifications
*Academic degree in a technical discipline or a similar qualification
*Professional experience in R&D, applications engineering and/or sales engineering
*Experience leading a project team
*Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
*Independent working style and good communication skills
*Ability to work in a team and a confident manner
