Job description

Shaper is looking for a Visual Designer to join the company’s global marketing team and help evolve how Shaper presents its products and services to customers as it reaches new audiences around the world.

This position is based at the company’s Stuttgart, Germany office with some flexibility for remote work. The Stuttgart office also houses a fully equipped woodworking studio with all of the tools, materials, and support in order to build your own creative projects and furniture!

Your Responsibilities

The Visual Designer will integrate with other stakeholders throughout the company in order to produce stand-out creative for the company’s marketing website, digital campaigns, and print advertising initiatives. This position requires strong English language skills and an ability to uphold the Shaper brand through well-crafted design in order to maintain and occasionally evolve the visual identity with care.

Your Profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with an e-commerce brand, product marketing, or relevant experience through a marketing or brand agency
• Experience working in a startup environment is a plus. You have a bias toward action and execution
• A compelling portfolio which demonstrates your design skills across digital and print media
• A passion for scaling design and brand consistency by evolving the company’s design system and style guides
• Proficiency with typography, visual layout, and color
• Interest in illustration and iconography
• High levels of proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Any experience with After Effects would be a plus!
• Strong English language skills, French language skills are a plus
• Excellent communication skills. You’re comfortable presenting to both stakeholders and team members
