As an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d), you are the contact person for the implementation and optimization of IT security systems and processes in the 'Corporate IT Services' team. You will support the implementation of IT service management for security issues and also take on IT project management tasks in this area.

What awaits you

• In your role, you will advise various teams and our administrators on IT security issues and mediate between regulatory/organizational requirements and technical implementation.
• In daily business, you monitor the threat situation in order to be able to react quickly to new vulnerabilities. To do this, you evaluate corresponding reports and initiate countermeasures according to urgency.
• You ensure that our systems and services meet current security requirements and that deficits are identified and rectified.
• You provide support in incident/response processes.
• You contribute to the continuous development of security solutions at the TDK Electronics Group and support the selection of suitable technologies.
• You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and customization of IT systems in the security environment
• You document IT service and IT system processes.
• In this interesting key position you are the technical contact person for our security officers but also the coordinator of external partners (MSP, pentest and red teaming engagements).

What you bring with you

• Completed IT studies or IT specialist training with at least 3 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably with relevant certifications
• Experience in managing complex projects, ideally also in authorization management, application operation, EDR and hardening of AD environments
• Sound knowledge of network infrastructures and Windows system landscapes
• Experience in dealing with IT security systems, based on current knowledge of common on-demand and on-premise infrastructure components
• Basic knowledge in the area of ISO2700x / NIST
• Structured way of working, analytical thinking and ability to work in a team combined with persuasiveness and high communication skills
• Interest in new technological developments and willingness to undergo further training
• Very good knowledge of German & English spoken & written
