We are looking for several Dual Students (m/f/d) to undertake practical phases with our Global Business Operations and Multinational teams in Munich / Cologne / Frankfurt / Hamburg and theory phases at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.  

Our Opportunity: 

On our Bachelor's Dual Study Program, for the duration of your Bachelors degree, you will alternate between practical phases (3 months working at Allianz Commercial) and theory phases (3 Months Studying at the Berlin School of Economics and Law). During the practical phases, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our Multinational and Global Business Operation teams (the specific assignments will be tailored to your preferences) whilst benefitting from exciting opportunities for further development, networking events, and mentoring to support your professional and personal growth. There is also an opportunity to spend four weeks at one of our European locations.  

During the Theory Phases (Months Studying at the Berlin School of Economics and Law):

• You will Study business administration with a focus on industrial insurance (Bachelor of Arts degree, Berlin School of Economics and Law)  
• Key subjects you will cover are: General and specific business administration, industrial insurance, modules on methodological know-how such as presentation techniques  

During the Practical Phases (Months Working at Allianz Commercial):

• You will take ownership of assigned topics and actively participate in our teams. Trust and taking responsibility are important components of our culture.
• You will handle contract management activities of medium to high complexity, including those with complex reinsurance structures. 
• You will utilize IT systems for data entry and efficiently populate relevant information for new and renewal business. 
• You will collaborate with Accounting, brokers, underwriters, co-insurers, and reinsurers to ensure timely premium payments. 
• You will assess and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly work to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
• You will develop working relationships with internal and external clients, attending relevant meetings and occasionally interacting with clients
• You will participate in projects and engage in cross-functional/location projects and short-term tasks, utilizing tools like PowerPoint and Excel systems.

Global Business Operations (GBO) at Allianz Commercial is a trusted partner with strong expertise to deliver best end-to-end policy services for our clients to support the growth journey for Allianz Commercial. The GBO teams provide policy processing throughout the lifecycle including, but not limited to, submission logging, premium booking and invoicing and policy preparation incl. wording and distribution.

Multinational at Allianz Commercial specializes in crafting bespoke risk solutions for global enterprises. Navigating the complexities of international markets, our experts collaborate closely with clients, providing tailored insurance programs that safeguard assets and promote business resilience. With a deep understanding of local nuances, Multinational at Allianz Commercial offers a comprehensive suite of services to meet the unique challenges and aspirations of multinational corporations, fostering sustained growth and global success. 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• A High school diploma or general or specialized university entrance qualification  
• Independence, quick comprehension, and a sense of responsibility  
• Fluent English and German language skills  
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
• Willingness to travel.
