Computational Design Developer (m / f / d)
Rethinking planning processes - Computational Design Developer for Generative Design wanted.In the central department STRABAG Innovation and Digitalisation, the course is already being set today for the construction of tomorrow. Together with the design and executing units of STRABAG, we are developing new digital tools to make design and construction processes better and more effective. For our agil and interdisciplinary team, we are looking for creative minds with a spirit of discovery to unleash the potential of digitalisation in construction together.Your tasks:
- You develop tools and processes with Generative Design in an interdisciplinary team
- You turn building planning processes into algorithms
- You develop tools to facilitate the way towards a more sustainable and performative future
- You will program software prototypes which are first tested and improved in real projects before being used across the company
- You always keep an eye on the latest developments
- You continue to build up the Generative Design team together with us
- You work independently and contribute your own ideas
- Successfully completed studies in the field of architecture / civil engineering / information technology / natural sciences
- You are an enthusiastic programmer who enjoys applied mathematics and geometry
- Very good knowledge in programming (i.e. C#, Python) as well as basic knowledge in optimization methods and optimization strategies
- RhinoCommon API experience desirable as well as interest in AEC software (Architecture, Engineering & Construction)
- Ability to analyze complex problems collaboratively as part of a team, then select the right tools and methods to solve them
