Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives, starting with whole-cut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create better-than-meat products that deliver on the entire taste experience, nutrition, and price of traditional meat without compromise .

Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the world’s leading biotech accelerator program, IndieBio in New York City, we now operate out of our lab in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.

Tasks

Job Description:

As Founder Associate , you will work directly with the founder and Chief of Staff during a 4-6 month internship, assisting the business operations and shaping Bosque Foods’ overall direction as a company. Your focus will span from market research, customer discovery, marketing, go-to-market strategy, and administration. You should have an entrepreneurial drive and mindset, high ambition and the ability to work in a high-pace/high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our founder and Chief of Staff to drive business goals, with a primary focus on the commercialization and launch of our first products.
• Shape the commercial strategy, taking ownership of customer relationships end-to-end. Assess key areas across the entire customer journey for both consumers and potential partners, prioritizing and setting hypotheses. Identify and approach potential strategic customers aligned with our mission.
• Own and optimize marketing channels, optimise collaterals to enhance our presence with potential customers.
• Engage in and own internal topics, such as internal operations, event management and project management tools, setting up the organization for success.

Requirements

• Education: Current student or recent graduate in Business Administration or a related field from a top university (MBA is a plus)
• Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment (i.e. high-growth start-up, strategy consulting, venture capital)
• Hands-on mentality, detail oriented and taking full ownership of the projects and tasks attributed.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging startup environment
• Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal
• Motivated by our mission and the potential of revolutionising the food system.
