About Area 21 Software GmbH
Area 21 was founded in May of 2022 by the Elmos Semiconductor SE. The initial team was build up with Elmos software experts in October 2022. Area 21 has employees with many years of experience in managing, designing and testing software to enhance functionality of Elmos ICs. The main focus is on building embedded software for the automotive industry in close cooperation with the Elmos hardware development.
Aufgaben:
- Development and maintenance of Git-based automated build and test processes and their
implementation in practice using typical automotive development tools - Development and maintenance of development tools and demonstration software, support
during commissioning and implementation in customer projects - Collaboration in the requirements analysis, architecture and partitioning of hardware and
software in the development process of tool and application software
Qualifikationsprofil:
- Completed studies with a focus on computer science or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in software and/or system development for embedded systems
in the automotive industry environment - Focus on software tools:
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art software development engineering practices (agile,DevOps, CI/CD, etc.)
- Comprehensive, confident handling of the programming language C/C++ (preferably also embedded C on ARM Cortex) on various operating systems for PC/Linux and embedded systems
- Good knowledge of the structure, operation and maintenance of CI/CD systems (preferably Git-based) and the integration of typical development tools used in the automotive embedded world
- Experience in dealing with scripting languages (preferably Python)
- Team orientation, self-motivated action and good communication skills
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
