Senior Python Backend Developer (m/f/d)

As a Senior Python Backend Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the Python applications that are part of our toolchain. You will play a critical role in creating new solutions, as well as maintaining existing ones, that enable our internal departments to evaluate the business case behind the project installation of a wind turbine or wind parks.
Your Tasks
- Design, build and deploy complex Python applications
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Scientists, Product Owners, Frontend Developers and other stakeholders to make sure we are building the right tools and experience for our customers
- Work closely with our software architects to ensure scalability
- Engage in problem solving and pursuit best practices within our agile teams
- Mentor team members in their journey to become a senior python developer is part of the game
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and practices and challenge the status quo
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Informatics, Science, Physics or similar
- +8 years in developing software solutions in a professional setting, with a strong emphasis on backend or data-centric development
- Professional experience in Python development as well as with Django & Flask frameworks
- Professional experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL & SQL Server
- Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure & Docker container as well as operating systems such as Linux
- Understanding of agile development (Scrum framework)
- Fluent in spoken and written English is a must, German is advantageous
- Current opportunity for up to 95% mobile working
