• Maintenance of Project Co management accounting requirements:
o Set-up management reporting
o Setup and maintain project chart of accounts
o Ensure all transactional processing of accounting data through appropriate accounting software
o Post Accruals and Prepayments
o Check Bank, AP and AR reconciliations
o Process Budget and Forecast updates, monitor cashflow
Responsible for the administration and integrity of the accounting system (currently Sage)
Ensure implementation of statutory compliant accounting practices and practices in line with the general and specific business activities and interests of the company
Support the development of appropriate policies, processes and procedures that oversee the day-to-day delivery of the company’s obligations and compliances
Share finance related best practice and standardisation opportunities in relation to transaction processing, management accounting, statutory auditing, funding due diligence, taxation and company secretarial requirements
Responsible for the preparation of accurate, relevant and timely periodic management accounting and financial management reporting to the NeuConnect boards, CEO and applicable budget holders
Assist the Deputy CEO for Germany in the preparation of accounts and consolidated accounts for the German regulator (BNetzA)
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationship with the lenders’ agent and consultants/advisors on the project
Managing payments to sub-contractors and other suppliers
Production of budgets and forecasts for the benefit of the shareholders and the lenders
Ensuring compliance with any statutory requirements:
Liaise with auditors to agree accounting treatment
Attend the planning meeting to agree audit deliverables and timeframe
Preparation of Draft Statutory Accounts
Manage the Audit process and deal with Audit queries
Finalise Statutory Accounts and manage Approval Process
Submit statutory Accounts to lenders (if applicable)
Ensuring compliance with taxation requirements:

PAYE
CIS
Reporting:
Preparation of Board report in a format as agreed with the Board and compliant with any Finance Agreement
Preparation of specific shareholder quarterly and annual specific reporting
