The XPAY Group is currently establishing a disruptive B2B2C model with its new payment and loyalty solutions, which excites globally renowned investors, our customers and of course ourselves!
As a Software Engineering Lead (m/f/d) you’re responsible for creating a modern, scalable and resilient tech platform in our fast-paced startup FinTech environment.
You’ll give guidance to other engineers as well as to other departments by setting standards and strategies and employing industry best practices for development, architecture and security.
About the position
- Lead, manage, grow and develop the engineering team, manage team related budgets and resources
- Hands-on programming, software- and architecture design, align with other department to ensure streamlined development efforts
- Build and manage relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and other departments
- Represent the development department in executive-level meetings
- Oversee the entire software development life cycle, from concept to release
- Project scoping, planning, and management
- Ensure security and compliance
About you (Erforderlich)
- 5+ years of experience in the field of engineering
- Professional experience in Javascript, Java, Ruby, in both architecture and implementation
- Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles and other engineering best practices
- Experience with AI-, NoCode- and LowCode-based solutions
- Proven experience in Logging, Monitoring and Alerting setups
- Good communicator with strong skills in verbal and written German and English language and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation including business owners, other leaders, and executives
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field
