We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Foundation Models for Data in Automated Driving.

What awaits you?

• Searching for the "right data" in automated driving space is a chicken-egg problem. With the recent advancements in foundation models this effort can be minimized.
• During this 12-week internship, you will develop advanced algorithms and applications of machine learning for automotive applications in general, with a particular focus on foundation models.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational linguistics, psychology or a comparable qualification (enrolled in Masters).
• Very good programming and debugging skills in Python 3 as well as practical experience with Docker, Git, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Understanding of Foundation Models (CLIP, Stable Diffusion ), Transformer based architectures.
• Curiousity, Scientific mindset
• Business-fluent English. German proficiency is optional.
