Professional work in an exciting and modern environment: Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf Medical Services GmbH (UKM) is one of four wholly-owned subsidiaries of the University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD), the largest hospital in Düsseldorf. The activities in a maximum care hospital are diverse and interdisciplinary. We are responsible for key areas of the UKD's daily operations and guarantee optimum care for secondary processes. This includes the areas of project management, construction & technology, laundry, AEMP, security services, UKM IT, logistics, archives and much more.

Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf Medical Services GmbH serves the UKD in the area of UKM IT, among other things, and supports the UKD's IT infrastructure with a wide range of IT services. IT support plays a very important role in this. To sustainably strengthen our team in 2nd level support in the area of UKM IT, we are looking for five

IT - IT specialist 2nd level support (m/f/d)

As an IT specialist in 2nd level support, you will be responsible for analyzing and solving hardware and software problems for our IT users at the university hospital and will be a competent contact person for our users with more complex IT issues.

If you enjoy the following tasks....

• Analyzing hardware and software problems and developing solutions using a ticket system according to the ITIL standard
• Installation and maintenance of hardware and software
• Development and implementation of support processes
• Carrying out tests and analyses
• Creation of documentation and instructions

and you bring the following with you....

• Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification with an IT focus
• Sound knowledge of IT technology and handling hardware and software
• Strong knowledge in dealing with clients (computers, printers, scanners...etc.)
• Experience in managing external service providers and in the field of media technology (projector, screen, TV & sound systems)
• Experience in dealing with customers and solving problems
• Commitment, reliability and an independent and responsible working style
• Strong analytical thinking with a willingness to participate in training and further education
• Good written and spoken German skills
• A strong customer focus, enjoyment of working with people and team spirit round off your profile
