As part of a performance-oriented and highly motivated team you are expected to work independently on challenging tasks with far-reaching implications for the strategic positioning and financial performance of the E.ON Group. In this central steering function you will closely cooperate with other stakeholders both in Corporate Headquarters and in E.ON's Business Units.

- Being a key member of the valuation and investment expertise hub for the entire E.ON Group.
- Leading valuation workstreams and preparing performance analysis for senior management decisions (e.g. E.ON SE Board) on M&A and investment projects with group impact.
- Holistic designing and financial modelling in the context of special projects (e.g., development of new business cases).
- Leading the group-wide asset and goodwill impairment test process, as well as the purchase price allocation for acquisitions of the E.ON Group (under the applicable IFRS and IDW standards).
- Determining the cost of capital for the E.ON Group and its business units.
- Supporting the global capital allocation process.
- Co-lead of legal and arbitration procedures in the context of valuation issues.
- Advising the units and functions on valuation-related topics in their exchange with regulators.
- Governing the Groups valuation and investment policies (incl. continuously refining processes, methods, and valuation tools).
A convincing background:
- Excellent university degree, ideally complemented by master and/or postgraduate studies in Finance (e.g. Ph.D., CFA or CVA).
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of corporate finance, transaction services and/or controlling (with a focus on business valuation).
- Profound knowledge in capital market theory and a very good understanding about the role of key capital market players on pricing mechanism.
- Ideally knowledge of Financial Market Information Systems (e.g. Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ).
- Very good analytical skills, a high level of numeracy as well as the ability to work well under time pressure.
- Profound experience in financial modelling in combination with excellent skills in MS Excel.
- Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with assertiveness.
- High level of self-organization and personal drive combined with experience working in cross functional teams.
- Fluency both in English and German.
