Job description
Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator to their team for an initial 5 months of contract. This role is hybrid with 2 days in office in Waterloo Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and process transactions (Gross to Net, New Hires, Transfers, Incentives, Deductions, etc.)
- Review daily Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI) between Workday and ADP GV
- Process data from Inbound Interfaces and other sources
- Prepare batch files, generate on-demand payments, process ROEs, and audit records
- Resolve Tier 1B payroll inquiries via Salesforce case management
- Payroll Governance and Controls
- Verify payroll data for compliance
- Maintain documentation for SOX and other audits
Requirements:
- Must have 2 to 4 years of Payroll Processing experience
- PCP with NPI (National Payroll Institute) is an asset
- Experience with Workday, large 3rd party providers (ADP, PeopleSoft), and ADP Global view
- Competent in Canadian Provinces payroll
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
