Job Description
In collaboration with the Human Resources leadership team, the HR Manager will ensure that human resources strategies and programs are aligned with the business objectives of the operations.
Reporting to the HR VP, the HR Manager will supervise a team of 2 HR Business Partners and directly support assigned client groups, primarily groups in our Corporate Services.
What you will do:
- Support and guide Corporate HRBPs in the achievement of their objectives;
- Act as a key reference in best practices development and deployment and ensure compliant and also innovative standards are set;
- Act as a first level partner with managers to provide support in human resources programs, practices and processes;
- Act as a main resource to the employees in assigned client groups;
- Work with the HR team in the execution of onboarding and offboarding initiatives and ensure that tasks related to employee movement (transfers, promotions, leaves, etc.) are well-executed;
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support clients throughout the recruitment process;
- Support and guide managers with all items related to compensation, performance management, training and development;
- Track HR performance indicators (headcount, turnover rate, etc.), analyze them and provide feedback to support management decisions;
- Investigate and follow up on labour relation disputes;
- Coach managers and empower them to better lead their teams;
- Play a pivotal role in various collaborative HR projects.
Qualifications
- University degree in industrial relations or human resources management;
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Bilingual (French/English);
- CHRP Title, an asset;
- High level of energy & dynamic;
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish partnerships in a matrix organization;
- Must demonstrate leadership and influence;
- Must be results, detail and customer oriented;
- Possesses strong communication and organizational skills;
- Must be able to adapt to change quickly and reprioritize.
