We are supporting a national pharmacy client with their search for a full-time, permanent Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join their pharmacy team, based in Cambridge. This RPhT will work on-site at a LTC, Retirement or Hospice facility with the primary responsibility of replenishing cabinet supply, tracking expiry dates and completing cycle counts.

✔ Full time, permanent role (40 hours / week) ;
✔ Work flexible and accommodating hours - because we understand how work life balance is important! (Shifts are able to run as per candidate availability - scheduled in advance - either 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11-7pm - no earlier than 8am; no weekends or rotating shifts!);

Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Cambridge - Healthcare

- Working full time hours to support the medication management system on-site at client facilities of this pharmacy organization
- Working independently within the care home as a representative of the pharmacy on-site at the client locations
- Completing training on software and automated dispensing cabinets and then holding responsibility for the cabinet inventory at each home (from replenishment to tracking expiries to cycle counts and following up on discrepancies/completing related audits and working with reports generated by the pharmacy software)
- Supporting the training of new home staff on the cabinet system
- May be asked to support vacation coverage at homes close to the Cambridge area that are typically assigned to another technician
- Other duties as required, within the scope of an RPhT in this type of setting

Qualifications
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Cambridge - Healthcare

- Registered Pharmacy Technician in Ontario and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent service for all patients;
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills as this role is very autonomous.
