Job description
Samara Framing Ltd. is in need of 4 Carpenters to join its’ team immediately.
These are the job duties you will have to perform as a Carpenter:
- Read and translate blueprints, drawings and sketches; to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools,
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes,;
- Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls;
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
- Maintain and renovate residences and wooden structures.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of high school
- On the job training will be provided
Job Terms:
- Wage: $31.00 hour
- Job Location: 5537 185a Street, Surrey, British Columbia – V3S 8S1 and Various Locations Across the Lower Mainland
- Hours: 40 hours per week. Full time, permanent position
