Job description
Position: Female and Male OPDL Head and Assistant Coaches
Reports to: High Performance Managers & Technical Director
Salary: Competitive and based on qualifications and experience
Starting Date: Immediately
Cambridge United is seeking qualified Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches both (Male and Female) to join our current OPDL staff.
The chosen candidates will work alongside the Performance Manager, Club Head Coaches and Technical Director.
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
• Support and promote Ontario Soccer Long-Term Player Development Plan (LTPD).
• Assist the Head Coach in planning and delivering training sessions in line with the coaching LTPD.
• Coach and travel with the team to all the events throughout the season.
• Liaise with other coaches in CYS to identify and promote to the OPDL program.
• Preparing and assisting with player evaluations as requested by Ontario Soccer.
• To be responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care.
• Extensive knowledge of the Game.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• A clear understanding of the soccer environment in Southwest Soccer and Ontario.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Minimum CSA National B License if applying for the Head Coach position. A License is preferred.
• Minimum of Ontario Soccer C license if applying for an Assistant Coach position.
• Legally living and entitled to work in Canada
