Warranty Technician

Job description

We are seeking an experienced  Warranty Technician to join our client, a leading multifamily builder in Calgary. As a Warranty Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the satisfaction of homeowners by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the quality of the homes through inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting quality control inspections before move-in, as well as 2-month and 12-month inspections to identify any potential issues
• Responding to homeowner concerns and issues promptly and professionally
• Coordinating and scheduling warranty repairs and work with homeowners and subcontractors
• Ensuring that all warranty work and repairs are documented properly in the internal tracking system
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborating with the team and performing other related duties as needed

Requirements:

• Experience/knowledge of general carpentry and other related construction
• Prior customer service experience in a similar industry
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Prior experience in residential construction or related field is preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license as you will be using a company vehicle
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
